We appreciate that each company using Intend will have specific ways of working and as such, may have individual development requirements. We will be happy to discuss these and how we will be able to help you during our initial meeting.
We are able to integrate Intend with Sage and Xero through Associated Programming Interfaces (API’s). Client creation, sales orders, invoicing and purchase orders are all mirrored.
Allowing your regional sales reps to visit clients, show correct pricing, stock levels, order sampling, place reserves, place orders, take notes against a client and projects. Linked to sales commission reporting.
Allow your national and international clients to access securely hosted inventory, pricing, order sampling, place reserves and place orders.
After receiving your enquiry, we will contact you to arrange a meeting, where we can discuss your company background, its client base and how you operate. During this meeting we will able to ascertain your requirements.
We will then follow up with a formal proposal and propose to come and meet you once more so that we can clarify and agree on all that has been discussed.
Once we move to a contractual agreement, we will then notify you of all information and data that we require.
We will then go about setting up your licenced version of intend.
Intend software is a cloud based solution and hosted on our servers. It is therefore web based software that doesn't require a stand-alone application. The advantages of this are that intend can be accessed from multiple approved locations at any given time.
We tend to view additional developments and enhancements to intend as being of benefit to all of our clients. Moreover if we regard an additional enhancement as being beneficial, we will then offer this to all clients. We absorb the cost of such developments as part of the value added service that we provide.
Set up is included within your (initial) annual subscription fee. Upon commencement of our contractual agreement with you, we will request data from you in the form of excel sheets. These will be for example, your client lists, supplier lists, product price lists and associated imagery. This will form part of what we ask for from you.
The minimum sign up term for intend is 3 (three) years. There is a considerable amount of cost that we initially absorb in order to provide you with a value added and competitive service.
We will need to communicate with your IT support company so that we can determine security protocols as well as gaining access to certain data or accounting software that you work with.
The software will be upgraded at least once a year, with functional enhancements, speed and security improvements as well as fixes and changes. Release notes will be provided in advance to detail any new features or changes to the system.
Intend makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that the software operates in accordance with the documentation at all times. We aim to achieve 99.9% uptime for the software service.
